Welcome to Unionville Tennis Club
A jewel set in the heart of Carlton Park in City of Markham, at the corner of Village Parkway & Carlton Road (map)!
Unionville Tennis Club, UTC, a not for profit community based club with 9 courts (6 hard and 3 clay) offers a wide range of programs and activities for both the recreational and competitive tennis player. Close to 50 years in operation we are located in the historic village of Unionville with free parking at the Presbyterian Church at 600 Village Parkway.
We offer organized programs, including competitive doubles, singles , round robins and house leagues. We have both junior and adult lessons/camps for all abilities. Our wide diversity of programs and activities have made us one of Canada's largest community tennis clubs. Our dedication to making every member feel welcome and "at home" has encouraged our members to return year after year. This year, as we Celebrate Markham, come join us and discover the jewel of Carlton Park.

Unionville Tennis Club operates from late March until late October on land owned by the City Of Markham. We have 9 tennis courts including 6 hard courts and 3 clay courts. We have a small but functional clubhouse, see picture above, with viewing decks, men's and ladies washrooms, food serving area, trophy display case and member information bulletin boards.
The club has monitors on duty, from late April until late September, most days. For clubhouse hours please go to What's On . We have Tennis Canada certified teaching staff for club organized and private lessons. Shortly after nets up in April and continuing throughout the season, there is a monitor on duty who assigns courts to members when they arrive. Random courts may be booked by telephone for Monday evenings only, otherwise book with a monitor on site. We have a defibrillator in the clubhouse and some of our monitors are trained in CPR and AED use.
