Every UTC Junior member, girls and boys, are welcome to register for all sessions based on the recommended level/age.
Each session is free of charge for our members, and will be supervised by our Tennis Instructors.

Child/Parent* - Playing with your Junior
Parents and their young tennis champs will learn how to play together through some fun tennis games.
Making tennis incredible without the pressure of missing shots.
Recommended level/age: young beginners (5 - 9yrs.)

Child/Parent* - Friendly Competition Games
Mixture of fun and competition through challenging team games with point play.
A variety of challenges: children vs. parents, child/parent teaming, and
children+Pros vs. Parents.
Juniors! Get ready to show them what the next generation is capable of!
Recommended level/age: beginner/intermediate of all ages

Juniors Round Robin
Mildly competitive doubles play, where Juniors are grouped by age/level
Players need to be capable of serving and maintaining a rally to participate
Recommended level/age: intermediate and up (+10yrs.)

Tennis Canada, in partnership with Rogers, has launched a new national program to introduce Canadian youth to the sport of tennis. Rogers First Set is designed to inspire youth and families in communities across Canada to try tennis and learn fundamental tennis skills in a fun, welcoming, safe, and positive environment.
This event is specifically for caregivers and their young juniors (5-9 years old) who are interested in learning tennis or who are just beginning their tennis journey. All the activities in the program are designed to connect to playing tennis, building the necessary skills and knowledge for players to become confident and competent on the court.

Tennis Rocks Festival 2024 at UTC will be on Saturday July 13 (rain date July 14)
Tennis ROCKS Festival at UTC
A three-way partnership with the Inter County Tennis Association, Ontario Tennis Association & Tennis Canada, has brought us Tennis ROCKS Festival for Junior players from across the GTA. The festival will have several Host Sites, along with the chance to qualify and play at the Sobeys Stadium in late September/early October. Food, Prizes, Giveaways, Smash Cage and some fantastic tennis awaits players, parents and fans!
Tennis ROCKS is an one day junior team doubles event consisting of 2 divisions:
1) All Stars (U14/U18) - A team consists of 4-6 players with 2-3 U14 and 2-3 U18 players
2) SuperStars (U12) - A team consists of 4-6 U12 players
For the UTC event on July 13 the entry fee is $120 per team ($30 per player). Each player will be provided with lunch and a swag bag. The OTA smash cage will be available on site. Winners of each event will be invited to play the finals at Sobeys Stadium
SPECIAL NOTICE **** The Billie Jean King Cup that the Canadian Ladies won in 2023 will be on display at the Unionville Tennis Club (UTC) on July 13

UTC was well represented by our U12 juniors in 2023 at Sobeys Stadium.
The final competitions for the ICTA and Tennis Rocks were held the weekend of
September 30. Congratulations to all the participants on their achievements this season.
