Billie Jean King Cup on display at UTC on July 13
Hello UTC Community,
Canada won the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup (BJK), the premier women's tennis competition with 132 nations competing. It is the first time Canada has won the Cup in its long history and Tennis Canada is touring the trophy at select sites across the country.
There are only 5 stops in Ontario and UTC is proud to have the honour of having a visit at our club on Saturday, July 13 from 1pm to 5pm!!! This is the only stop open to the community in the GTA.
The junior Tennis Rocks event will also be in progress during the Cup showing.
This is a very rare and probably once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Cup up close and have your picture taken with it.
