Junior Tennis Rocks Tournament 2019

The Forecast for Saturday June 1, 2019 was thunderstorm starting mid-morning, which made playing the Tennis Rocks Junior Tournament at the Aviva Centre questionable. As it turned out, it could not have been a better day. It was sunny and calm all day. However, matches on the Sunday were delayed a bit, but by the end of the day all matches were played. Unionville had 4 teams entered, with 3 Boys teams playing on Saturday and 1 Mixed team that played on Sunday. For the past few years, UTC’s goal with Tennis Rocks is to give the opportunity for UTC juniors the chance to play regardless of level and age. As such we had a few juniors playing in their first tournament to gain great experience with fun as a primary objective. Congratulations to all who participated, and for doing such a great job representing UTC. Special thank you to Bev, Kung, Natalia, Sergey, and Sheila for their help over the weekend.
